It is a wine of classic riparian elaboration.
With this wine we wanted to make a classic elaboration of Ribera
del Duero, with the spectacular grapes of Fuentenebro, an integral vinification in
barrels, an intense and balanced flavor.
Ribera Del Duero
Ribera del Duero is a designation of origin that covers vineyards located in Castile and León ( Spain ), within a strip of the Duero River basin , about 115 kilometers long and 35 wide, located at the confluence of the provinces of Soria (19 municipalities), Burgos (60), Segovia (4) and Valladolid (19). 4 It begins approximately in the east in San Esteban de Gormaz and extends to Quintanilla de Onésimo in the west. At the end of 2005, crops in the area constituted approximately 2% of the total area dedicated to grape cultivation in Spain.
As of December 31, 2017, it comprises a registered vineyard area of 23,353 ha 5 consisting of 8,220 active winegrowers 5 and 288 wineries . 6 In 2018, the harvest began on September 19 and reached 125,438,801 kilos of grapes collected.
